This is who we are
The reason The Ayurveda Practice exists is to help people find peace within themselves. It is very hard to find peace if our bodies are ailing and our minds are agitated. By treating each person as a whole being and easing away the imbalances which have accumulated, we can help restore the natural state of peace.
Kate Siraj is a fully qualified Ayurvedic Practitioner with a BSc in Ayurveda (Manipal, India, First Class Honours) as well as a qualified Shadow Work Group Facilitator & Coach. She completed 500 hours of clinical Ayurvedic internship training in India (Kochi, Kerala and Hassan, Karnataka) and thus is a full member of the Ayurvedic Professionals Association. She is a co-founder and lecturer at The Ayurveda Academy.
She has 3 children and is passionate about healthy diet and lifestyle as a way of keeping them fit, strong and disease free. Previous to discovering her love for Ayurveda, Kate completed a Master of Chemistry degree at Oxford University (First Class Honours) and then worked as a Marketing Manager for a blue-chip multinational (and therefore understands the pressures of corporate life).
It was through early voluntary work as a coach for young leaders, that Kate discovered her true intent for life; to serve with love and help people find their natural peace. Thus began a life’s journey into Ayurveda.
Maria prides herself in continually adapting her approach to suit each individual client. She is a qualified Ayurvedic Therapist and is also passionate about aromatherapy, yoga, acupuncture and creating cosmetics.
She has 2 wonderful children.
