Caffeine – gets us moving, at what cost?

“Let’s meet for coffee”. Who doesn’t say it? I don’t even drink coffee and it is still a phrase that trips off the tongue. Coffee has reached cult status and it is no surprise. That hit of caffeine feels good. When you start adding in creamy milk, syrups and chocolate Read more

“Massage is essential” – now that sounds good

Abhyanga (Ayurvedic warm-oil massage) is not a luxury, it’s essential. That’s not from me, it’s from the ancient Ayurvedic texts: ‘Abhyanga should be resorted to daily. An absolutely magical and transformational weekend, held masterfully by Kate and Wakar Siraj in their beautiful home. You will emerge feeling freed and powerful, healed and strengthened.

I have done a lot of shadow work in my life. Kate was amazing and we had an individual session together. I felt safe, I felt heard, seen, understood and also felt quite comfortable to move into deeper unconscious material that needed visiting and moving through. I feel I made some big strides towards moving towards goals I want. I cannot recommend Kate's work highly enough!

Words can’t express. Coming from someone who did not know what to expect or if Ayurveda could provide impactful results. Through Kate’s guidance I have significantly eased my chronic digestive problems and debilitating menstrual symptoms. My hormones and cycle have stabilised. The real transformation is body and mind- so as someone who previously avoided any type of psychological therapy, I felt resoundingly safe with Kate, and ready to tackle things to help improve my life even further. I decided to try shadow work and it’s just something else. I understand the impact of my previous trauma, how this shapes me as a person, how I interact with myself and the world, and can finally move forward in peace rather than suppression .. words just can’t explain the impact of the work that Kate does. Just try it.

I have been working with Kate for ~6 months as she has supported me with digestive issues from both a physical/dietary and emotional perspective. I had the most incredible shadow work sessions and can't recommend Kate highly enough. I had the processing session today and feel/hope it will have a lasting impact on my life, for the better. Thank you Kate!

Kate is absolutely lovely and a great Ayurvedic doctor. She has been incredibly helpful and supportive throughout, and I can only highly recommend her. I'm very grateful for her care and guidance.

Kate provided a very safe, warm and comfortable space in which she gently and expertly enabled me to explore the different parts of myself during our one to one shadow work session. The experience was incredible and I would highly recommend Kate to anyone needing or wanting guidance in this method of deeper self exploration.

Having completed an initial assessment form I have had 2 calls and Kate has taken the time to listen and understand asking various questions to pinpoint the root cause of my digestive issues. I have adapted my diet accordingly based on Kates advice, tweaking times and length of breaks in between food and have seen huge benefits already. Not only do I feel more energised and confidant in the food choices I am making, the lifestyle advice has also complemented my routine in maintaining balance. I cannot recommend Kate highly enough for any short or long term health issues as her knowledge and understanding of Ayurveda as well as her compassion will provide the solutions.

I had a one to one shadow work session with Kate. It was an intense and emotional experience and Kate had an amazing ability to make me feel safe and held and identify the parts of me holding me back. It was a truly transformative experience and has helped greatly in freeing me to live my life to the full. I would highly recommend Kate and shadow work.
