This simple homemade curry powder requires only about 2 minutes of your time. Â It means you can have a curry powder at hand when you need it, which doesn’t contain chilli (which aggravates the digestive tract and upsets digestion). Â It is preferable to use whole spices and freshly grind to make this – you have much more potent spices with more flavour.

Hi Kate
In your curry powder recipe do you whole spices or ground powered spices? Wondering as the recipe says to grind the spices in a coffee/spice blender?
Best wishes Urvi

Dear Urvi,
It wasn’t clear was it?! You can use either – I’ve changed the wording to make it more clear.
Enjoy!
Warm regards,
Kate
